Happy Corporate Commodification of Love Valentine’s Day everyone!!!  Hopefully, through all the cultural ridiculousness today, you find some time to think about those you love and reflect on what a wonderful gift sharing love is.  In that spirit, Jenmarie, of Anakin and His Angel, has dedicated this month’s ComLINKS to, “This year I thought writing about who we love to share Star Wars with would be a very uplifting topic.  So, who do you love to watch the films/cartoons with or talk about the latest books/comics with?  Is it your parents? Star Wars ComLINKS: Rogue One Favorite Scene

By now the dust of the holiday madness has settled and we’ve all had the chance to see (and geek out over!) Rogue One at least once (or, you know, four times).  In honor of alllllll the time Star Wars fans have spent thinking about the new film, this month Jenmarie – from Anakin and His Angel – has dedicate the Star Wars ComLINKS post to a discussion of our favorite scene in the film.  Coolio!  It seems obvious, but this piece will have some spoilers in it.  They aren’t major ones but a scene will be described.  Hey, I just want to make sure we all go into this with our eyes open okay?

Rogue One: A Restoration Of Faith

I left my second screening of Rogue One yesterday.  I’m still overwhelmed by feelings today.  Of course I’ve no clear thoughts or insightful analysis to offer yet.  But I wanted to write about why the film impressed me so much (obviously without spoilers).  Like many, Star Wars is something very near and dear to my heart.  But I went in with my expectations as reasonably low as I could manage.  The Disney Canon has disappointed me before.  However, I can feel the Force freely flowing around me now as a result of seeing Rogue One!  THIS is exactly what I’d been hoping the Disney Canon could give me.
