Best MCU Viewing Order / My Avengers: Endgame Preparation!

It’s that time of year again.  It’s time for me to add stress and pressure to my life by trying to wrap all daily obligations around a now TWENTY-ONE FILM movie marathon before seeing the twenty-second entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Endgame.  Last year I said the MCU was getting too large for this.  I can’t marathon their entire catalogue three times a year with each new entry.  But I also admitted I’d have to do this at least once more because Avengers: Endgame is the closing chapter of the MCU’s first generation.  If I marathoned it all for Avengers: Infinity War, then I had to for Avengers: Endgame.  I figured I’d discuss my preferred viewing order now too.  Why is it the best?  Um, well it’s the one I’ve chosen for myself and why wouldn’t I pick what I like best for myself?  Do you agree, dear reader?  Well, there’s only one way to find out…read on and let’s get our Mighty Marvel Movie Marathon on together!

My Deadpool 2 Preparation!

So back in December, to prepare for The Last Jedi, I marathoned all the Star Wars movies in chronological order.  Since I was dropping the Disney Canon additions in where they’d fit narratively (and back-to-back double featuring Rogue One with A New Hope) that meant EIGHT NIGHTS straight of Star Wars goodness, with The Last Jedi on the final night.  Then, last month, I took this process to new heights with my Mega Marvel Movie Marathon – every single MCU film leading up to my seeing Avengers: Infinity War.  That meant NINETEEN STRAIGHT NIGHTS of Marvel greatness!  But now…the Merc with a Mouth returns!  So what monstrously magnificent marathon will lead my way to Deadpool 2?!?!?

My Avengers: Infinity War Preparation!

It’s coming.  The “most ambitious crossover event in history” is almost here.  And, while I might think the most ambitious crossover ever thing is a little heavy-handed, this is undeniably HUGE.  On 26^th April, ten years of interconnected storytelling will come together in Avengers: Infinity War, bringing together all the characters Marvel has introduced into their cinematic universe over the last decade.  This brings with it many pressing questions.  Who will live??  Who will die?!?  And, perhaps most vexingly of all…how do I go about preparing for this?!?!?

My The Last Jedi Preparation!

Okay folks, the time has ALMOST ARRIVED.  The Last Jedi will be hitting theatres next week!  Let’s all pause for a moment to squeal while basking in excitement and anticipation.

Alright, now that we have all that out of the way, let’s look at how I’m getting ready for The Last Jedi shall we?  Who knows?!?  Maybe we’ll have the same process!!  Wouldn’t that be a fun coincidence??  Aww, it would be.
