Teaching Star Wars 101

I’ll keep this short so you’ll actually click the link.  On Monday, Hannah and I were guests on Hyperspace PodBlast (A Star Wars Podcast) to talk about our Star Wars & Contemporary Myth class!  For real.  How amazing is that?!?  We had so much fun with Bryan and Shelby and it was a nerd dream come true.  So please (pretty please), click on this link and bounce over to their site so you can hear us all geek out about Star Wars and talk about the nature of our course!  Best.  Day.  Ever :).

If you clicked on the article as opposed to just reading the above blurb on the homepage, here’s a picture of Chewie, Han, and Leia looking cool during the briefing for the Battle of Endor in Return Of The Jedi as a reward.  Also, here’s a link the the Hyperspace PodBlast blog (another great WordPress site you can follow!) and the way to follow them on Twitter too!  Both of these things are things you should do and your life will be exponentially better and more Star Wars-filled as a result.

I wish I could look half as cool as they do when I’m sitting in meetings.  Sigh… / Photo Credit – Return Of The Jedi

Are you still here?  Why haven’t you clicked the link yet??  C’mon!  I’m so excited about this!  Okay, just to make it easier, here’s the link again.  Just click here (please) and you can head over to the Hyperspace PodBlast and listen to Hannah and I discuss out Star Wars course with Shelby and Bryan!  It’s so fun!

    1. Really?? That’s exciting! What sort of work do you do with them?! Is it a reading exercise or a discussion/presentation thing?? I’m fascinated by this! And what a brilliant idea. Star Wars in a Spanish class sounds like my kind of Spanish class :).
